Pristine Car Care Instructions

At Pristine Auto Detailing, we want your vehicle to stay clean, protected, and looking like new for as long as possible. Follow these simple care instructions to maintain your detail or ceramic coating.

Wait Period

If your vehicle has a fresh ceramic coating or wax, avoid washing it for at least 7 days to let it fully cure.

Step 1:

Hand wash using the two-bucket method with grit guards to prevent scratching. Always use a pH-neutral car shampoo (avoid dish soaps or harsh cleaners). Avoid washing in direct sunlight.

• Tools We Recommend:

• Microfiber wash mitt

• Soft microfiber drying towels

• Foam cannon (optional but ideal)

Drying Your Vehicle

  • Never let your car air dry to prevent water spots.

  • Use a clean microfiber towel and gently pat dry or use a dedicated car blower for a spot-free finish.

  • Avoid drying in direct sunlight.

Maintain Between Washes

Keep your car looking clean between washes with these tips:

  • Ceramic Detailer Sprays: Use a Ceramic Detailer spray and microfiber towel to remove light dust, fingerprints, or fresh bird droppings.

  • Avoid Rubbing Dirt: Never wipe your car with a dry towel when it’s dusty, as this will scratch the paint.

  • Keep Microfibers Handy: Store a clean microfiber towel and spray in your car for quick touch-ups.

Step 3:

Protect Your Vehicle

  • Wax or Sealant: Apply a wax or paint sealant every 3 months if your car isn’t ceramic coated to protect from UV rays and contaminants.

  • Ceramic Coating Maintenance: If you have a ceramic coating, use a ceramic booster spray every 3-6 months to maintain hydrophobic properties.

Windows and Mirrors

    •    Streak-Free Glass Cleaner: Clean windows with a dedicated glass cleaner and a separate microfiber towel to avoid streaks.

    •    Interior Glass: Don’t forget to clean the inside of your windshield for better visibility, especially in humid or rainy conditions.

Step 6:

Final Check

    •    Walk Around: After cleaning, do a quick walk-around to check for missed spots or streaks.

    •    Enjoy Your Car: Keeping up with regular care will make your vehicle look newer, longer.
